I'm loving all the entries for CS6. Beautiful! Just letting you know that I have had limited access to the internet as we are taking a few days off to "retreat" and enjoy summer a bit. When I get back I'll post the gallery and a few other goodies. See you on the 1st!
The Challenge
- I'm convinced I dream in color. And I love design...everything about it. I wanted to pair my love of color and design in a creative way...thus "colorstory" was born. It's a bit of color, sketch & design paired with a challenge to you each month. It's not a kit... but it may require you to open that stash of pretty & perfect papers and emblellishments you've been saving and play along. Your mission...the colorstory challenge!

Here in California...school's officially out...and SUMMER is IN! So when I saw this inspiration photo I immediately knew that it screamed summer. It's clean modern lines spoke to my design side and the bright colors "popped" against the crisp white...which is quickly becomming my favorite color for backgrounds. So even if it's not summer where you are...I know that you must have a stash of summery (or vacation) photos waiting to be perfectly scrapped.
Try these design ideas: keep your background WHITE. Play with the white on white texture. (see the woodwork + white moulding) Add only "pops" of color. HAVE FUN!

Not a beachy theme but I loved the October Afternoon papers and they went so well with the colorstory swatch!
